The Company should also communicate quickly with you when any changes occur, so that you can immediately make any necessary adjustments.
SOLID MARKETING SYSTEM - It's very unfortunate, but most Companies have dismal marketing systems, if they have one at all. The burden usually falls on the sponsor and if you are not lucky enough to have a knowledgeable and successful sponsor who is willing and able to teach you his methods, then you are going to be floundering in the dark. Also, if you happen to have one of the top earners as a sponsor, it can be intimidating because you might feel you are not able to do what he has done. What you need is a Company that provides a marketing system that will run itself.
QUALITY AND SOLID COMPANY MANAGEMENT - Take the time to check out the founders of the Company and the people they have put in the top executive positions. Are these people highly qualified in their field? What is the Company vision statement and what are their plans for the future?
GLOBAL REACH - Today, business is conducted on a worldwide scale because of the power of the Internet. Ask yourself this question....can the product line be expanded into other countries? Even if the Company had the ability to expand internationally, is the product a viable one for other countries? You want to find a Company that has a product that not only appeals on the international scene, but that will also prove to be successful.
COMPENSATION PLAN & INCENTIVES - Many people are so enthralled with the product that they neglect enquiring about the compensation plan. This can end up being a rather costly mistake. For example, say your goal was to eventually make $6,000 a month. One company might require you to have 400 people on your team to accomplish this. However, another companys requirement might be 600 people. This is important information, especially if the products are very similar in quality for both companies. Your decision making is made much easier when you know these facts.
COMPANY PHILOSOPHY - DO THEY GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY - Is there a philanthropic side to this Company? Are they involved in various programs that help the less fortunate? If they are not, then they are probably not going to be very giving when it comes to their dealings with their own people.
