So, How do you fit? If your heart sinks when comparing yourself to those profiles, dont despair. Plenty people who dont fit them completely manage to make reasonable living running their own home based business.

Think about your qualities, abilities and try to increase your chances of accomplishment by taking the right decision.

Bear in mind that success is not about having or coming up with a brilliant idea, about good luck, about plans. It is about determination and a lot of hard work.

To have any chance of making a success of your home business, you will have to be absolutely committed to it. You will need determination and stamina, and you will have to learn to cope with levels of stress, which are not generally experienced as an employee.

Even though you have worked in a challenging job and be responsible for very important projects, this is not the same as having your own home based business.
